Show shoppers how much more to spend for free shipping. The bar fills up as they add products: top of the page, cart, checkout and mini cart.

== Description ==

"Add $12 more to get free shipping" is one of the simplest ways to make shoppers add one more product. Free Shipping Progress Bar shows that message, with a bar that fills up as the cart grows, and turns into "You get free shipping!" at the right amount.

It needs no setup: the amount comes from your WooCommerce **Free shipping** method, for each shipping zone.

= What shoppers see =

* **Cart is empty:** "Free shipping on orders over $50" in a calm strip at the top of every page.
* **On the way:** "Add $12 more to get free shipping" and a bar that fills up. It changes the moment a product is added, without a page reload.
* **Reached:** "You get free shipping!" with a check mark.
* **No free shipping for them** (a shipping zone without free shipping, or a cart with only digital products): no bar.

= Always the right amount =

In the automatic mode the amount comes from the Free shipping method of the shopper's own shipping zone, and the cart is counted exactly the way WooCommerce counts it (tax display, the "apply minimum order rule before coupon discount" setting, free shipping coupons). So the bar says "free shipping" exactly when WooCommerce gives it. The settings screen lists every zone and the amount found in it.

When a shopper reaches the amount, free shipping is also chosen for them, so they do not keep paying for the shipping they picked before (pickup choices are left alone).

Free shipping comes from another plugin? Type your own amount instead.

= Where it shows =

* Top of every page.
* Cart page and checkout (classic and block). The checkout bar changes when the shopper picks another country.
* Mini cart (the cart that opens from your header).
* Product pages, under the Add to cart button (off by default).
* Anywhere with the `[fspbar]` shortcode.

One bar per page: on the cart page, checkout and product pages, that page's own bar replaces the top bar.

= Works with your shop =

* Classic themes and block themes, the Cart and Checkout blocks.
* Page caching: a cached page fixes its bar by itself when the visitor's cart is different.
* WooCommerce order tables (HPOS).
* Translation ready, right-to-left ready, screen reader friendly, and it respects "reduce motion".

= Settings =

Find them under **WooCommerce → Free Shipping Bar**, with a live preview for phone and computer:

* Amount from WooCommerce or your own amount.
* Your own texts, with {goal} and {remaining}.
* Turn each place on or off.
* Light, dark or colored bar, and your bar color (text colors are picked for you so they stay easy to read).

= Pro =

[Free Shipping Progress Bar Pro](https://oneclickorderpro.com/free-shipping-progress-bar/) is a separate add-on with: several goals on one bar, a free gift product, discount rewards, free shipping without WooCommerce setup, start and end dates with a countdown, full design control, and a report. The free plugin works fully on its own.

== Installation ==

1. Go to **Plugins → Add New**, search for "Free Shipping Progress Bar" and click **Install**, then **Activate**.
2. Make sure one of your shipping zones has a **Free shipping** method with "A minimum order amount" (WooCommerce → Settings → Shipping).
3. Open your shop: the bar is at the top of the page.
4. Optional: change texts, places and colors under **WooCommerce → Free Shipping Bar**.

WooCommerce must be installed and active.

== Frequently Asked Questions ==

= Where are the settings? =

In **WooCommerce → Free Shipping Bar**.

= The bar does not show. Why? =

The bar needs a Free shipping method with a minimum order amount in the shopper's shipping zone (or your own amount in the settings). It also stays hidden for carts with only digital products. The Goal tab in the settings lists what was found in each zone.

= Does the bar give free shipping? =

No, your shipping settings do. The bar only shows the way there. In the automatic mode it uses the same amount and the same counting as WooCommerce, so the two always agree.

= Does it work with page caching? =

Yes. If a cached page was made with a different cart, the bar asks for the visitor's own numbers once, right after the page loads.

= Does it slow down my site? =

No. One small CSS file and one small script without jQuery. The script only talks to your own shop, and only when the cart changes.

= Does it collect any data? =

No. The plugin does not track visitors and does not connect to any outside service.
