A side cart that slides in after Add to cart. Shoppers change quantities and go to checkout without leaving the page.

== Description ==

When a shopper taps **Add to cart**, most shops reload the page or send the shopper to the cart page. CartGlide keeps them where they are: a clean cart slides in from the side with the product they just added, everything else in the cart, the subtotal and a big **Checkout** button. They can change quantities or remove items right there, then check out or close it and keep shopping.

It works on phones and computers and needs no setup.

= What shoppers see =

* **A side cart** with the product picture, name, chosen options, quantity buttons, a Remove link and the price of each item.
* **"Added to your cart"**: a green line at the top names the product just added.
* **Subtotal and a true note**: "Shipping is added at checkout." (or taxes, or nothing) follows your own shipping and tax settings.
* **Checkout** in one tap, and a **View cart** link for shoppers who want the full cart page.
* **A round cart button in the corner** with the number of items, so the cart is one tap away on every page.
* **An empty cart** shows a short message and a Continue shopping button.

= When it opens =

* After Add to cart on product pages (without a page reload), on shop and category pages, and from WooCommerce blocks.
* When the shopper taps your header cart icon or any link to the cart page.
* Never on the cart and checkout pages: they already show the cart.

= Works with your shop =

* Product pages send your real product form, so product options, add-on fields, quantity rules and stock limits work exactly as before.
* Safe with page caching: the cart's content is always the shopper's own.
* Your theme's header cart and the Mini-Cart block stay in step.
* Extras that show in WooCommerce's mini cart show in the side cart too, for example a free shipping bar.
* Classic themes and block themes, WooCommerce order tables (HPOS) and the cart and checkout blocks.
* Translation ready, right-to-left ready, keyboard and screen reader friendly (focus stays in the cart, Escape closes it), and it respects "reduce motion".

= Settings =

Find them under **WooCommerce → CartGlide**, with a live preview:

* Turn the side cart on or off, and choose when it opens.
* Add on product pages without reloading, on or off.
* Open it from the header cart icon and cart links, on or off.
* The corner cart button: on or off, bottom right or bottom left, and whether it shows when the cart is empty.
* Show or hide the "added" line, the note and the View cart link; your own title and Checkout button text.
* Slide in from the right or the left, and your button color (the text color is picked for you so it stays easy to read).

= Pro =

[CartGlide Pro](https://oneclickorderpro.com/cartglide/) is a separate add-on with: product suggestions inside the cart ("You may also like", one tap to add), a coupon box, more looks (a floating card, every color, width and corners) and a report of how the side cart helps your sales. The free plugin works fully on its own.

== Installation ==

1. Go to **Plugins → Add New**, search for "CartGlide" and click **Install**, then **Activate**.
2. Add any product to the cart in your shop: the side cart slides in.
3. Optional: change it under **WooCommerce → CartGlide**.

WooCommerce must be installed and active.

== Frequently Asked Questions ==

= Does it replace my cart page or checkout? =

No. The cart page and checkout stay exactly as they are. The side cart has a View cart link and a Checkout button that open them.

= My shop goes to the cart page after Add to cart. =

That is a WooCommerce setting: WooCommerce → Settings → Products → "Redirect to the cart page after successful addition". CartGlide follows it. Turn it off to use the side cart.

= Does it work with page caching? =

Yes. The page holds an empty side cart; its content is loaded for each shopper.

= Can I turn off the round cart button? =

Yes, under WooCommerce → CartGlide → Side cart → Cart button in the corner.
